Outdoor learning
Freedom and space allow children to develop their physical skills such as: balancing, co-ordination, and dexterity.
Children's emotional well-being is enhanced as they play together and connect with the outdoor environment in a more meaningful way.
- Our outside area is safe and secure.
- Children benefit from grass, tarmac and a covered area for soggy days.
- Ample resources to ignite curiosity.
Learning & development
We are committed to the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Children are exposed to planned and purposeful activities that raise and broaden their core knowledge. Through play and positive relationships children strengthen what they already know developing their skills to continue their learning at their own pace.

Free Education
We provide government-funded early education places for eligible 3- and 4-year-olds, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Department for Education (DfE) guidance.
We do not charge for the funded entitlement hours, and access to these places is not conditional on the payment of any fees.
However, we do make reasonable charges for optional extras and additional services that are not covered by the government funding. These charges are entirely optional and will always be clearly explained in advance.
Our current daily fee for these optional extras is £8.80, which includes:
- Meals and snacks: breakfast, lunch, and light tea.
- Non-food consumables: personal care items, symptom relief creams and medication (as agreed), and craft materials.
- Extra-curricular activities, which are charged on an “as and when” basis with prior parental agreement.
- Additional hours beyond a child's funded entitlement are charged at £10.00 per hour.
N.B. Meals and snacks are provided as part of our daily fee for optional extras. Due to allergy and safety considerations, we strongly encourage all children to take part in the setting’s meal provision. In exceptional circumstances, alternative arrangements can be discussed with the manager to ensure every child's needs are safely met.
